Its launch on the high collection market was in December 2001
on the occasion of the birth of the heiress to the Japanese throne Aiko,
the daughter of Prince Naruhito and Princess Masako, when the
representatives of Mont Blanc Japan suggested that the firm from
Hamburg might pay tribute on such a special occasion.

18-carat gold quill, with the word SAKURA
engraved in Kanji characters.

The Sakura 333 limited edition
is made in fine Messien porcelain, has the cherry flowers hand painted on
the cap and two blue crossed sabres.
The fountain pen of the SAKURA 333
collection comes in a black lacquered wooden case decorated with a famous
Japanese poem written in Kanji calligraphy.
